Horstead- Day 2

We dove into a day of exciting adventures. Pupils were split into two groups for three fantastic activities: canoeing, environmental art and rock climbing. With teamwork and determination, we paddled along, soaking in the serene beauty of the surroundings. It was a test of cooperation and balance as we navigated the waters together. Creativity flowed as we delved into the world of environmental art. Using natural materials found in our surroundings, we crafted stunning pieces of art that celebrated the beauty of nature. It was a truly inspiring experience, reminding us of the importance of preserving our environment. Our adventurous spirits soared as we took on the towering rock climbing wall and zip-wire. With encouragement from our peers, we conquered our fears and reached new heights. It was a thrilling experience that pushed us out of our comfort zones.

After a day filled with activities, we had some free time to relax and explore. Whether it was sharing stories, playing games, or simply enjoying the outdoors, this was a time to connect and unwind.

After tea, we gathered around a crackling campfire, eagerly anticipating the evening's festivities. Marshmallows on sticks were roasted to perfection, and we savored their gooey goodness. Hot chocolate warmed our hearts as we shared stories and laughter around the fire. It was a perfect ending to an action-packed day.
