Great Cressingham Trip

On 24th September, Robins class travelled back in time to 1899 on their visit to Great Cressingham Victorian School. We dressed up as Victorian school children and spent the day in the classroom participating in lessons including reading, writing and arithmetic. We wrote on slate boards and even got to use ink pens! At break time, we went outside and played with Victorian toys including wooden and metal hoops and skipping ropes, spinning tops, skittles and quoits. We looked around the museum which contained many interesting Victorian artefacts. We had a fabulous day and gained so much from the experience. Many thanks to the parents for providing such brilliant costumes!
