Asthma Friendly School

We are an accredited Gold Asthma Friendly School. We create a safe, supportive environment that helps students manage asthma, reduce triggers and participate fully in learning and activities.

We have a clear policy for asthma care(found under school policies), including maintaining updated action plans and having emergency procedures for asthma attacks. Each member of staff, including midday supervisors, is trained in asthma awareness and what to do in an emergency. 

Students with asthma are able to participate safely in PE, sports, breaks and lunchtime and field trips.
