On Wednesday we opened the school doors for an all day session of The Club.  The children who attended had a fantastic day of fitness, first aid and fun. After a morning learning about and using muscles, they learnt how to call an ambulance, how to put someone in the recovery position and even used a defibrillator.

Afternoon snack was either cucumber or beans from the school garden which the children picked themselves. They also harvested the garlic that had been planted earlier...

P.E in our school was celebrated this week in our annual Sports Day. The children warmed up with stretching followed by a lolly stick hunt around the school grounds. Running, egg and spoon and sack races were enthusiastically cheered on by the many parents who had come to watch. The house team relay race was hotly contested as were the parents' bean bag on the head races!

The whole afternoon was a great success with children encouraging each other, working together as a team and demo...

It really was a beautiful sight when all of our children stood with their Christingles lit in the aisle of All Saints Church. We hope the pictures do it justice! Earlier this morning, the children had worked in their house groups to construct their Christingles. This is the first time we have organised it this way and it was lovely to see the older children helping out their younger team mates. Thank you to all who supplied an orange and to Liz Hammond who organised the sweets, candl...

Our ears have finally stopped ringing after the noise of this year's pantomime trip to the Theatre Royal, Norwich. The children had a fabulous time, were extremely well- behaved and joined in enthusiastically with every boo, hiss and 'He's behind you'. Live theatre is such an exciting spectacle and thank you to the FOALS who helped to pay for our trip. The children's faces were wonderful to behold and the comment of 'I wish today would never end' by a year 3 child shows just how magi...
