It really was a beautiful sight when all of our children stood with their Christingles lit in the aisle of All Saints Church. We hope the pictures do it justice! Earlier this morning, the children had worked in their house groups to construct their Christingles. This is the first time we have organised it this way and it was lovely to see the older children helping out their younger team mates. The children had a fabulous time, were extremely well- behaved and joined in enthusiastically with every boo, hiss and 'He's behind you'. Live theatre is such an exciting spectacle and thank you to the FOALS who helped to pay for our trip. The children's faces were wonderful to behold and the comment of 'I wish today would never end' by a year 3 child shows just how magical an event it is.

There was just time in the afternoon for a tour of the cathedral, looking at some of the art work commemorating the life of Edith Cavell, all the while listening to some beautifully sung carols fro
